After being released by the Cardinals, Rod Hood became a free-agent. But on Tuesday, he ended his life of being free-agent--a one-year contract was signed between him and the Cleveland Browns.
Hood has spent long time on NFL games, with first 4 years spent in the Philadelphia Eagles and second 2 years the Arizona Cardinals. In 2007, Hood registered the highest record in his career of five interceptions, two of which returned for touchdowns. And in last season, his record was 40 tackles and one interception.
Hood was released from the Cardinals because the Cards was cutting its cost after they ran to the Super Bowl. And now, he will compete for the Browns' starting spot.
